Our 7 days Mount Kilimanjaro – Lemosho tour is a thrilling journey, perfect for those seeking stunning views and great acclimatisation. The Lemosho Route is often regarded as one of the best routes for adjusting to Kilimanjaro’s altitude, providing ample time for gradual ascents and proper acclimatization. Starting in lush, dense forests, this route offers unique wildlife encounters, including elephants and buffalos that roam near the Lemosho Glades.
On the first day of the 7 days Mount Kilimanjaro – Lemosho trek, you may even be accompanied by an armed ranger. This adds a level of excitement and safety, as the Lemosho forests are full of vibrant wildlife. The hike progresses through multiple ecosystems, allowing trekkers to experience Kilimanjaro’s ever-changing landscapes.
One of the most captivating parts of the Lemosho Route is reaching the Shira Plateau. The plateau opens up to breathtaking views, creating the perfect setting for acclimatization and rest. As the route continues, each day brings new terrain and spectacular vistas, including Kilimanjaro’s towering summit in the distance.
Although 6 days Lemosho-route is achievable, we often recommend an additional day, extending it to a seven-day trek. This extra day provides your body more time to adjust to the altitude, helping to prevent altitude sickness.
